Well my birthday wish is coming true a few days early. I just placed my order for a Canon G3 Digital Camera. Woo Hoo!! Should be here in a couple days :)

We'll I spent yesterday putting 40mm bases on all my Deathwing Terminators. I decided to do this after seeing that GW is putting all future Terminators on 40mm bases and I like the way it looks. I guess there are ups and downs to having bigger bases. One is that it's easier for more mini's to get into Hand to Hand with you. But the counterpoint to that is that your move into hand to hand will be faster (which is nice for the Deathwing). We'll see how it works during gameplay but looks wise I really like the bigger bases. I am giving myself a deadline of July to try and get my deathwing done (that's when Eye of Terror starts). My birthday is around the corner and I'm really hoping a digital camera is on the way ;)

It appears that some of you thought my last post was being serious. Please people lighten up!

First off, the book is really good and I recommend it for any Dark Angels player or any Warhammer 40k player. "The Heretic" (Gav) did a great job. It will rock everything you've come to believe about the Dark Angels.

However if you do choose to read it please report to interrogation chamber #42 so I can show you my Blades of Reason.

It has come to my attention that a tome of unprecedented heresy written by the known heretic Gav Thorpe, is making the rounds of the Dark Angels and its Successors. As a ranking Chaplain I feel it is my duty to make sure that everyone understands that this story is nothing but bald face lies and I ask all Dark Angels that are not members of the Deathwing to please put the book down and not read another word or you will be opening yourself up to the taint of Chaos.

It is absolutely absurd to believe that half our Chapter rebelled against us and I will not stand for any of these blatant lies. No such incidents occurred on Piscina IV and Chaplain Boreas and his squad were killed in a valiant fight against the Ork incursion there. To believe anything else would be treason. I will not even honor this false story by repeating the rest of the heresy contained within it.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Well hey I finally got this blog thing working. I might hopefully have some big news shortly. But I have to keep my mouth shut until I know for sure.

I'm still working on my Fallenhunters material and I hope I'll have something up by next week.

Well I've been slowly working on getting the site up and running after the update. I'm hoping for a digital camera on my 30th birthday (which is April 2nd) so I can start adding more pictures. If you'll notice I added a link for the Fallenhunters. This is going to be my attempt at adapting the new Daemonhunters codex Grey Knight Terminator rules for use with the Dark Angels. I'll essentially be making my own fluff and adding pics of the miniatures as I do them. Imagine a crack Deathwing sqaud specifically tailored to hunt down those fallen that have succumbed to the influence of a daemon. By the way if you haven't seen or picked up a copy of the Deamonhunters codex I recommend it highly. It looks to be a great way to add some diversity to you imperial army and I really enjoyed reading it, and the new miniatures are killer.

I'm also about halfway through Gav Thorpes new Angels of Darkness novel which just came out her in the states. Its very good and I'm enjoying it emmensely. However I am a bit concerned by my Brother Chaplains attitudes in this book. ;) We'll have to see where it ends up.

I guess thats it :)

Okay so this was supposed to be a real blogg, however since I can't get the darn thing working right I am just going to be posting to this page for now. (Hmm maybe I don't need a blogg) I've been a little out of the loop lately. I moved to Dallas last Sept and the process of getting settled in and keeping my self from going nuts has kept me from working on anything that has to do with my beloved Dark Angels. However that hasn't meant they haven't been on my mind and so I decided that to get myself back on track I would slightly revamp my web page here and hopefully build it up so that its a good/fun resource for Dark Angels fans. I am still trying to find the funds to get a nice digital camera so until that happens some of the sections are not going to get going right away (specifically the tutorials and anything that needs new pictures) However once I do get a camera I have a bunch of stuff just waiting to be photographed. Anyway I hope you like the semi-new look. It's what I originally envisioned when I started this site a little less then a year ago.

Make sure you check out the links section and if you haven't visited the Fortress of the Unforgiven yet then get your butt in gear and go over there. Its 3000 times better then this one and its also celebrating it's 2nd anniversary! Way to go Shadow Guard.

Alright that's it, dismissed.
